2. What data do we collect, and why?

If you write to us through the contact form

  • Data: your name, e-mail address, country, phone number (optional), the name of your company (if you write on behalf of a company), the subject of your request, how you heard about us and the content of your message.
  • Why: to answer your request and, if you wish, to send you a quote.
  • Legal basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
  • Your message reaches us by e-mail. It is not stored in a database on the site.

If you are a client of ILIADE

  • Data: your name, e-mail address, company, address, SIRET number, VAT number and VAT regime, as well as the documents prepared or received as part of the engagement (VAT returns, acknowledgements of receipt, summaries, invoices, mandates, certificates, etc.).
  • Why: to carry out the engagement entrusted to us, to make your documents available in a secure area and to send you messages related to your account (welcome message, password change).
  • Legal basis: performance of the contract between us and our legal obligations (accounting and tax).

Technical data

  • Like any website, our server automatically records the IP address and the date of each connection. This information is used only to keep the site secure and working properly (legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the site).

We do not collect any sensitive data. We do not carry out any profiling or automated decision-making.

3. Who can access your data?

Your data is intended for ILIADE only. We do not sell it and we do not pass it on to third parties for commercial purposes.

To run the site, we use one technical provider: OVH SAS (Roubaix, France). It hosts the site and the client area documents on servers located in France. It also provides our e-mail service: messages sent from the contact form and the automatic messages from the site (for example the welcome e-mail) go through this service.

Finally, we may have to disclose data to the competent authorities when the law requires it.

The site uses no statistics tool, no advertising and no embedded social network. The fonts are hosted on our own server: no data is sent to Google for this purpose.

4. How long do we keep your data?

  • Request sent through the contact form and not followed up: 3 years after our last exchange.
  • Clients: your account data and documents are kept for 5 years after the end of the engagement, unless the law requires a longer retention period. Access to the client area is closed at the end of the engagement.
  • Technical server logs: about 14 days.

5. How do we protect your data?

Your client area is protected by a personal username and password. Documents are not publicly accessible: only their owner and ILIADE can view them. Exchanges between your browser and the site are encrypted (HTTPS).

We recommend choosing a long password, not sharing it with anyone and not reusing it on other sites.

6. Cookies

The site only uses technical cookies, which are necessary to log in to the client area. They are not used for advertising or audience measurement. For details, see our cookie policy.

7. Your rights

You have the following rights over your personal data:

  • right of access: to obtain a copy of the data we hold about you;
  • right to rectification: to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
  • right to erasure: to ask for your data to be deleted, within the limits of our legal retention obligations;
  • right to restriction and right to object: to ask for processing to be suspended or to object to it for reasons relating to your situation;
  • right to data portability: to receive your data in a commonly used format;
  • right to withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on it;
  • right to set directives on what happens to your data after your death.

To exercise these rights, write to us at Show email address If there is any doubt about your identity, we may ask you for proof of identity. We will reply within one month.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority): www.cnil.fr, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France.

8. Updates to this policy

We may change this policy, for example if we add a service to the site. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
